Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Distach, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. These Terms of Service govern your use of our marketplace platform and services.

Eligibility

To use Distach, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be a resident of Nigeria
• Have a valid Bank Verification Number (BVN)
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Not be prohibited from using our services under Nigerian law

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Completing the verification process when required

How Distach Works

For Sellers

• Post items with descriptions, photos, and set bounty amounts
• Hunters will find potential buyers for your items
• You choose which buyer to sell to from hunter recommendations
• Complete transactions securely through our platform

For Hunters

• Browse available bounties and find potential buyers
• Connect verified buyers with sellers
• Earn bounty rewards for successful connections
• Maintain high performance ratings to access better bounties

Fees and Payments

Platform Fees

• Account verification: ₦200 (one-time)
• Successful sale commission: 2% of item price
• Bounty processing fee: 5% of bounty amount
• Payment processing fees as charged by payment providers

Payment Terms

• All payments are processed through secure, certified providers
• Bounties are held in escrow until successful completion
• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
• Disputes may result in payment holds pending resolution

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• List illegal, stolen, or counterfeit items
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Bypass our verification or payment systems
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Use our platform for money laundering or illegal activities
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
• Interfere with platform security or functionality

Content and Listings

By posting content, you:

• Grant us license to display and promote your listings
• Warrant that you own or have rights to the content
• Agree that content must be accurate and not misleading
• Understand we may remove content that violates these terms

Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between users:

• Contact our support team within 24 hours
• Provide evidence and documentation
• Participate in good faith resolution efforts
• Accept binding arbitration if mediation fails

Limitation of Liability

Distach provides a platform service. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of items listed
• The accuracy of user-provided information
• Disputes between users
• Loss or damage from platform use
• Third-party services or payment processors

Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend accounts for:

• Violation of these terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Multiple user complaints
• Failed verification or suspicious behavior
• Extended inactivity

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to users via email or platform notifications. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes will be resolved in Nigerian courts with jurisdiction in Lagos State.
